Mr. Nicaise AMOUGOU is a seasoned banking professional with strong background in several areas.
Since the early 2000s, he holds a master’s degree in Banking and Finance from IRIC (Internal Relations Institute of Cameroon) in Yaoundé and has also obtained certifications in the areas of credit analysis and risk management.
He has more than 20 years of experience with a focus on Sales and Risk Management, which makes him one of the experts in said activities in the CEMAC sub-region.
This knowledge of credit, market and operational risks allows him to proactively identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring the Bank operates in a secure and compliant manner.
Until last January, before joining us as Chief Risk Officer, to provide his expertise in building a dominant Access Bank in the market, Mr. AMOUGOU respectively held the positions of Credit Manager at UBC (Union Bank of Cameroon), Chief Risk Officer in UBA (United Bank for Africa) Congo and UBA (United Bank for Africa) Cameroon, then Director of Credit at CCA (Credit Communautaire d’Afrique) Bank.
