Pamela Ngelaw Zanche is a seasoned Banking and Finance professional with over 28 years of experience in portfolio management, corporate and institutional banking, and financial services across Cameroon and the CEMAC region. She currently serves as Head of Institutions at Access Bank Cameroon, where she leads strategic business development, client portfolio management, and stakeholder engagement.
Pamela has a strong track record of delivering sustainable business growth and supporting sovereign debt capital market transactions, including Cameroon’s inaugural Eurobond issuance. She is recognized for her expertise in structured finance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and relationship management, working with a diverse portfolio that includes central banks, government entities, multilateral institutions, NGOs, and commercial banks.
Before her current role, she held a management position at Standard Chartered Bank Cameroon as Head of Public Sector, Development Organisations and Financial Institutions, where she successfully grew and maintained a profitable client portfolio. She began her banking career at Afriland First Bank, where she rose through the ranks to lead the Trade Finance Department, overseeing international trade operations and regulatory compliance.
Pamela holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Management from the University of Yaoundé II. She has completed several professional certifications in credit analysis, correspondent banking, and financial risk management. She is known for her strong leadership, strategic thinking, and commitment to excellence in client service and financial governance.
