Mr Rudolf Afoh Tangunyi is a seasoned lawyer skilled in corporate governance, criminal law, human rights, and commercial law. He joined Access Bank in June 2021 as the Head Corporate Counsel and Company Secretary, where he is responsible for driving the bank's legal and corporate governance functions.
Mr Tangunyi has over six years of experience in the legal sector, with a mastery of Cameroonian law and a deep understanding of other international and regional regulations. His key skills and qualities include strategic thinking, problem-solving, decision making, and technical knowledge.
Holder of a Master's degree in Business Law (Corporate Governance) and a Post-graduate Diploma in Corporate Governance, both from the University of Yaounde, he also has a Bachelor's degree in English Private Law from the same institution.
Rudolf's most relevant professional experience includes working as a corporate governance specialist and legal practitioner. He has consulted for various corporations and helped them develop and implement corporate governance policies, conducted due diligence exercises, and drafted and reviewed legal agreements.
